Frequently Asked Questions (eng)

Can I submit materials for all numbers of Glimpse?
Of course, any author can send pictures or poems related to all themes. By submitting material remember to specify the color chosen and include a brief biography (maximum 15 lines).

The release date?
Volumes about the color will come out in this order white - yellow - orange - red - pink - purple - blue - green - brown - black on the 25th of each month. The deadline for submission is 15th of that month.

Can I send material concerning the latest numbers even if they will come out between a year ?
Certain: the sooner the better .. and remember to specify your color choice!

I am a poet, the texts that I choose to send must have a maximum length?
There are no real limits but please be careful not to send extremely long poems (Iliad or Paradise Lost)

I am a poet, there are formatting rules for sending materials?
Good question Poet: we prefer txt or word document, Times New Roman font size 12. Clearly specify the text alignment (center, left or right) and other formal desires.

I am a digital artist / painter / cartoonist / photographer, how many images can I send?
In order not to make chaotic layout and graphics is better to send up to 6 images.

I am a newborn artist: I haven't biography, I never exposed, I have never published in journals or e-zines. What can I do? I try?
Yes, try it. The emerging is always welcome.

Will all sent materials be published?
No, there will be a selection: only five poets and five visual artists will appear in each volume.

Will Glimpse go on after the thematic block about color ?
Yes, Glimpse hopefully will continue with new thematic blocks. You will be warned in time, no doubt!

I have not quite latched on the themes of the various volumes, can you explain better?
Each monthly issue is related to a gradient color: the submitted materials must, in some way, adhere to the suggestion of the color proposed (force your imagination!)

Still not clear to me, some examples?
Ok! Black: gothic or dark designs and poems , images composed primarily of dark tones .. a beautiful photograph of black-oil or pitch! :) Could be a candidate for Black theme also a very colorful and pop work in which is painted a terribly sad scene ... as I said before: force your imagination!
